City of Creation is a piece I composed in December of 2008 for my large ensemble, Aerial Photograph. This piece was inspired by conversations with various Philadelphia based artists and musicians. It's form is a repeating motif which is continually altered as it makes it's way through the entire ensemble. This song is featured on the Aerial Photograph record, "Ways and Means".
The Sycamore Tree is an original solo guitar piece I recorded at home. It's a very chromatic piece which uses many extended harmonic ideas.
Nardis - The classic Miles Davis tune. This live trio version is with Justin Leigh on drums and Brian Howell on bass.
Bye Bye Blackbird - This is an excerpt of a trio version I did with vocalist Sonia Szinjberg and Benje Daneman on Trumpet.
Somewhere Over the Rainbow - I wrote this arrangement for Aerial Photograph, it features the voice Sonia Szinjberg. This recording is from my Masters recital in 2010.
Struggle (excerpt) - One of the first pieces I wrote for Aerial Photograph. This is from a live concert at the Tritone Bar in Philadelphia. This song is featured on the Aerial Photograph record "Before the Stars Burn Out".
City of Age is a suite I composed in 2008 which was inspired by conversations with elderly individuals. This is a clip with my good friend Rich and his elderly sister, Rose. I just love this.
